Al Quaeda blames Barack Obama for Israel-Gaza conflict

Seeing that the conflict goes back to 1960 I cannot fathom why they can blame him. Apparently they believe it's Obama's present to Israel. Huh?! Ok how can a war that was started by Hamas even remotely be blamed on Obama or America.The way the Muslims continue to think that the world revolves around hating them, is seriously clouding their judgment. Hamas continual rocket fire into Israel started this current battle, not Obama. Then they people argue put Hamas has the right to be angry because they live in a segregated community. Now flashback to when the border was made and the Israeli's was forcefully removed from their homes to give it to the Palestinians, all the Arab countries agreed upon the boundaries. Actually everyone was happy to force Israel into giving Gaza to the Palestinians. What a mistake. The Israeli's created and oasis where there was desert. They built all the hospitals and schools they had flourishing greenhouses. Where is all those things? Destroyed by Hamas for some inexplicable reason. Their hate so much stronger than their common sense. I saw on tv how the Israeli settlers cried over they're homes and farms as they where being forced from their homes. Back then it was green and beautiful now it's becoming desert again.

Hotel for dogs - movie trailer

This looks like a fun movie to watch as a family. It has been years since they have made a good children's movie, not animated that is, so I'm looking forward to this one. The plot seems pretty straight forward two kids have a dog that they're guardians won't let them keep. So then they found this abandoned hotel where a couple of street dogs lives. The young boy makes a bunch of gadgets so that the dogs can basically look after themselves and his sister and her friends help. Everything is going well until people start complaining about hearing dogs barking then the fun starts. This is a very traditional kids story where they get up to no good, with a couple of dogs thrown in, is going to make it a favorite with children especially mine they love dogs.
Gone are the days of festivals in South Africa

I might be wrong but the days where families go out to a festival like this is gone, South Africans are much different now, they have to many worries and the festival mood does not come that often. I can remember as a child going to the Somerset West Lights, every year when they switched that on was probably my top point for the year. It was when my holiday officially started on Decembers.
The products were great, they sold everything from weird looking plants to pottery, but today in this crime ridden South Africa all you'll find at these places are plastic toys from china and a bunch of fake watches and sunglasses being sold.
I miss the old South Africa, the racism might of been bad but there was no crime, no murders and theft like there is today.

This is an French film with subtitles, don't let that scare you it looks brilliant. I love foreign films I hate subtitles so I have a bit of a dilemma. The movie must be worth it for me to actually make the effort. A avid book reader I don't mind reading it's just the fact if I felt like reading I would pick up a book :)
A Christmas tale is a film about a french family who needs to come together because the mother needs a bone marrow transplant. Junon and Abel are the parents they have an eldest daughter, Elizabeth who looks like a miserable cow who sulks all the time. A middle brother Henri, who seems to enjoy being the black sheep in the family, his sister for some reason had him banished promising she never want to speak to him again. Then there is the youngest Ivan, who is also the peace maker in this strange family.
I like the trailer it tells the story without spoiling it and it intrigued me enough to actually want to watch the film.
Four Christmases - Movie Trailer

Four Christmases looks hilarious, I love Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn. There are a couple good actors also in this film. Unusual for a Christmas feel good themed movie to have so many popular and good actors.
Now the movie is about a couple who is perfectly happy just being a couple, not married and not parents. They have been able each Christmas to avoid they're family celebrations. Then by circumstances they end up having to go to all four family Christmas get together's. In this process they end up reflecting on their own relationship and what they want out of life.
The plot sound super serious but it's not, seeing all these hilarious families celebrating Christmas in their own way. And watching two people who are obviously commitment phobic surrounded by all of this. I am so going to watch this movie.
Melamine found in South Africa's food but they wont tell you what food it is

The SABC tested some foods and found that one of them contained the chemical Melamine which has been causing chaos across China, now they wont say who it is until they have spoken to the company involved.
How messed up is that, your child or your family could be taking in Melamine without knowing because they dont want to tell us.

Tests were conducted in a Cape Town laboratory on various sweets, chocolates and cereal.
Earlier this year, the presence of melamine in Chinese-manufactured dairy products was blamed for a number of infant deaths and illness.
Melamine is not a food chemical but a industrial chemical used to make glues and other toxic things and these people added it to food (in China) to boost the protein content, so next time you read Protein on the pack remember this post.
What to do when you have nothing to blog about

In a world with constant information and anything you want right in front of you, you need ways to keep your readers coming back to your blog. So what if you suddenly have nothing to write about? Here in Africa we have things like malaria and other things carried by Mosquitos. Probably all over the world there is some form of flying thing that will bite you when you are nicely tucked away in your shelter. Especially at summer.
One thing you need to put in your survival kit if you live in such a area is a Mosquito Net. Not just for you but take one for each person that is with you. Obviously you plan ahead, 5 people in your family you take 5 nets.
This can be a great help and also when you dont have access to medical and medicine its important to take all the precautions you can.
So remember folks. Take those mosquito nets.
