The people of Cherrapunji, somewhere in India, had a problem with wood rotting in the forest making bridges unsafe. So someone from a local tribe War-Khasis,decided to make living bridges from the Ficus elastica tree which is a type of rubber tree. The tree has some roots that start above the ground and is very strong. They saw the potential when they realized the roots can be manipulated into shapes by other objects. So they took hollowed out tree trunks they maneuvered the roots until it starts to take shape.
