Yes yes I know twitterfox can not possibly work offline but somehow its the only thing that seems to work with my connection at the moment. Nothing loads, only twitterfox. Must be the port no or something not entirely sure why twitterfox would work while i have no internet connection.
Anyway, in South Africa i am not sure one can successfully run a business or blog online without being interrupted all the time. For the past week we've had a slow connection and I am now fed up with it.
Our ISP was friendly enough to let us pay the old price and keep the package but being disconnected all the time it does not seem like such a great idea anymore.
I need to be connected since my entire career is online, if there is no internet i have no job. That sucks. I guess I am just ranting now while being offline but thanks to this dumb communication system and laws we have in South Africa I can not be as successful as i really could be.

Woolworths is bringing out a new earth friendly range of cleaning products. There will be more than 60 different things you can choose to save the earth by using that to clean whatever.
They are all made naturally and are plant based also have not been tested on animals.
All of them carries the Beauty Without Cruelty label and will also use recycled plastic.

I have worked in London restaurants and I was probably the rudest person ever to be a waiter but I made more money than most other waiters. I could not understand this until now. If you know me you would know that I dont take crap but am a very friendly person.
But in social networking, especially in South Africa there are some vain bloggers and people that call themselves social marketers and social media strategist. The thing is that these people think they rule the internet when in fact they are very small.
That is where I learned to become a mean person again and what it did shocked me.
The more rude and tough you are, the more you talk about yourself the more people want your approvement and that leads to traffic and fame. Weird isnt it.
Think about these cocky bloggers that act like they know it all. They have people reading their sites, while the friendly ones barely can make a living.
This is part of the road trip series
The day after staying awake for two days and we had some sleep we went around to the Colesberg information centre. I was surprised to see that this information centre was much more than just a information centre. They are preparing the Colesberg information centre to be much more than just a information centre.
They people that work there are quite friendly and they gave me a preview of how it looked. I did not want to push my luck and take to much photos but I will share them in the next posts.
On the outside of the Colesberg is this memorial or stone. It says:
14 (Cole's Kop) Battery Royal Artillery
This memorial is in remembrance of the bravery and resourcefulness of the 14th (Cole's Kop) Battery Royal Artillery who, in January 1900 as 4th Battery Royal Field Artillery, conducted operations in the area of Colesberg, Cole's Kop, the 800ft flat - topped hill overlooking the Boer positions, gave an ideal vantage point to the British forces.
Assisted by the Royal Engineers and the Essex Regiment, a 15 pounder was borne to the summit and brought into action. At dawn on 12 January 1900 the solitary gun opened fire causing confusion and forcing a withdrawal of the opposition out of range. A second gun was subsequently taken to the top. In all 3383 rounds were fired between 6 Jan and 12 Feb 1900.
Major Butcher, the Battery commander, was awarded the distinguished service order.
In 1928 14 Battery Commander, was granted the Honour Title COLE'S KOP which retains to this day.
Kleinmond used to be a big holiday destination and it probably still is. With Accommodation right on the beach as you can see in this photo in the background, there used to be a camping site I dont know if it still is there. We used to camp there when it was still safe to camp in South Africa. Now days people just go to guest houses. Kleinmond has a lot of restaurants and great places to eat. There is a Spar and also a "Friendly" store.
At hight tide the water comes over the beach and fills the lagoon with new water. There also used to be a place where you can rent boats to go on the lagoon but I dont know if it still is there.
