Hermanus Times Kalfiefees

Five fun packed days in Hermanus aptly named the Kalfiefees - Calf festival because the festival is in celebration of the arrival of the Southern Right Whales. There would are many things to do and see during the five days in Hermanus. According to the Day program on the official website there would be 37 different events during the festival. There would also be a couple of special things just for the ladies seeing as it's woman's day on the 9 August.

Road to Hermanus

This road is actually in the middle of nowhere. We drove there on purpose just to have a bit of silence. Its the R302 to Hermanus, not many people drive it and its a beautiful and peaceful road for a Sunday drive.

This is Kleinmond Camping site. Kleinmond is a small town in the Overberg about 30km from Hermanus.

The Overberg was all lovely today. Spotted this sign at the disability parking at Grotto beach, Hermanus. Stupidity is not a disability.
