A new dumb law or bill is in the going in the US, but it doesnt only affect the US it affects the entire planet. The Cybersecurity emergency bill would enable Obama to shut down the internet for whatsoever reason he feels fit.
But why and what would it help shutting down the internet? The internet is doing fine now and there is probably no threat that can harm a country through the internet physically. What threat could the internet really be to such a extent that it has to be shut down?
I believe this is only to censor what is about to happen according to many people in the US.

When I bought the Mac i thought its got everything in that you need. Well it turns out you can even play a video on the internet with this dum stupid crap. Where in the world have you heard of a operating system that sells you crap that you have to pay for once you want to use it.
This QuickTime shit came with the computer, if I knew that most of the programs in Mac you have to pay for again after you bought the stupid Operating system I would of spend my money on a way better computer and loaded it with Ubuntu.
Mac sucks because it cant play most videos be default, even videos Windows xp can play by default.
So, unless you want to scrape out more money after you bought the Mac, dont buy a mac.
Last night I was browsing a bit of Google trends and as usual I find the weirdest junk in there that I dont think anyone really searches for. I think its a mean little joke Google plays on webmasters to see who's really typing junk to get rated.
So if found this:

As you can see in no3 its a small sign or digit whatever you want to call it of a airplane hitting the twin towers. How does that make Google trends. Is it hackers? I really dont know but it does shake the credibility of these trends a bit. Well for me anyway.

I often speak to people that tell me to stay in South Africa while they are enjoying the richer countries like Europe or Somewhere in America.
They all have the same story, they left South Africa and now they really miss it and then they tell you to stay because its a great country.
If you ask them why they are not here they will give you a few good reasons but the fact is they are still not here. The only advice you really can take from someone living in another country is to emigrate, but you cant take their advice to stay in South Africa because they are not even doing it.
You will see comment from home sick South Africans all over the internet, what a nice country etc we have. Well just like they are not in the country because of some issues the same way you might want to leave the country.
Its nice sitting in a place of safety and security telling people to stay.
That's strange. I would not of thought that most bloggers would be from Cape Town that blog and live in South Africa. My guess would of been Johannesburg. According to "Sake 24" something like 88% come from Cape Town.
I guess its called the laid back city for a reason but this is also the silicon valley of South Africa.
Cape Town as far as I know also has the best internet connections and most people that live here are not obsessed with work. At least the ones that I know.
Interesting.

I've had some trouble recently with Wordpress. Every time i wanted to post something the page would just hang. I search all over the internet until eventually and ironically i got to wordpress.org and found the code.
The code to remove is this:
<?php
$metadata = has_meta($post->ID);
list_meta($metadata);
?>
from this file wp-admin\edit-form-advanced.ph
But I want to go further with that, Removing that code is a great idea even if you are not experiencing problems because it does take longer than it would without that code. So if you want your post page to load faster just remove that code.
Back in the day, sort of like two years ago when the internet was still younger and much more unspammed wordpress was great to see on the frontpage of Digg. Tonight I wondered why we dont get to see those great Wordpress articles on the frontpage of Digg and I soon discovered shit loads of spam. But in the spam was some great articles hidden, i realised that the Wordpress crowd and the Digg crowd is two different groups. No kidding. My point is that any great Wordpress article must be something else than a theme or a plugin that might sound frontpage worthy, it should be something that change Wordpress or the way we use wordpresss. Another thing I've noticed is only trusted sites gets to the front page of Digg, (no shit) the point I am trying to make is that you just wont find great Wordpress articles on Digg so you might as well stop looking.
