The ANC's plan for creating jobs

March 2, 2009 by evl

The ANC released their plans today for creating jobs. It reads as this:
Over the last 15 years we have achieved significant levels of sustained economic growth. We have managed to progressively increase the rate at which jobs have been created. But despite our progress, we still face massive unemployment and widespread poverty. We need to continue to grow the economy, and make sure that the benefits of growth are shared among all South Africans. That is why the ANC has developed a clear and achievable plan that will grow the economy over the next five years and create more decent jobs. This plan includes: * a massive public investment programme, expanding and improving rail networks, public transport, port operations, dams, housing, telecommunications and energy generation; * an expanded public works programme linked to the infrastructure programme and meeting social needs with home-based case, cr

Have you ever used your survival gear?

December 24, 2008 by evl

The other day I got myself some flint and steal. You know you strike the flint against the steal and the small pieces that fall off are heated, they light the tinder which then in turn lights the fire which gives you a real great fuzzy feeling because you did not use any modern form of lighting the fire. Well, to my surprise I found that I had never used a flint and it was harder than I thought. You see you have to strike the flint a certain way to light the fire. It really is not as easy as it looks. This will teach us a lesson. Many people gather equipment for they might need it one day and even though they have the equipment they have no idea how to use it. If you dont know how to use your survival gear it really is not worth the extra weight, especially in real survival situations. Learn to use your gear so you dont get stuck with something you dont know how to use as well as carrying the extra weight.

There are no anti black training camps, only anti white training camps - South Africa

So all the newspapers were wrong and today they had to fix their stories. The story about the boy that got abducted and given guns and learned how to blow up stuff was a fake. There is a camp that trains boys and men but its totally legal, unlike the ANC training camps where they train to kill the farmers and boers.

I still dont see the major newspapers turning their story they told, its a absolute lie. On another note, no one got arrested when they found the ANC training camp up in the North of South Africa and not just that, there are many more camps like that and nothing is dont about them.

Now you can call me a conspiracy theorist but this government is anti-white

eMarketing blabber

October 31, 2008 by evl

Yes, eMarketing sucks. If you dont like what you are doing it sucks. Blogging on the other hand is fun and not so boring. Now I personally enjoy emarketing but for most people learning the ways to market something on the internet takes years and then you have the competition. That is why you should always find the right people to do eMarketing for you. On the internet you mostly have only one shot at making a great impact with your product or service per person. So making the most of every visit or person you come in contact with on the internet is the best way of building a community but if you are only doing it for the sake of selling a product or getting people to go to your site they pick up on that quickly. If you are however passionate about a service or product and you can blog about it for days on end and you make connections that way you will find it easier to spread your brand. I think i need sleep or coffee. I am just bored.

Taking over a niche starts with the longtail

October 28, 2008 by evl

Niche blogging is not always easy especially if you have a lot of competition. But keeping a close eye over your search results, the results people find your site for is the first step in getting your blog into the short tail as they call it.

First when search engines scan your site and you start your blog out you will not rate for the wanted keywords and this is where most people starting using the meta tags and things like that. I dont have any meta tags on this site and the reason for that is simple, associating your site with keywords will result in your site being limited to those keywords and restrict growth.

I am sure by now you might think i am just writing a bunch of nonsense but I have have the facts to prove it. It really is that simple. So you might get one visitor right, but you have to watch and learn from how you got that one visitor and once you analyze your keyword the site was found for you can see where and how to go further.

I will blog about this topic a bit later. Please join the feed for updates.

Cushy CMS a plain and simple CMS

October 8, 2008 by evl

I just browsed upon a new CMS called Cushy CMS. It looks like a really simple CMS made for people that dont really have the time or might be to old to learn Wordpress. Although I slightly disagree with that, its what the site says. Its a interesting little cms that giving clients sites would make it a lot easier though since you can decide the editble areas as I understand. According to the site:
No programming required and no server requirements. You won't even need to train your clients / content editors.
One downside is that its not Open source. Click the image to go to the site.

Making money on the internet, not as easy as they make it sound

October 7, 2008 by evl

About a year or two ago I learned that people was making money and some even more than I've ever had, they made all this money on the internet. I was amazed and really loving to blog I decided that I will become a full time blogger. This was easier said than done. So i started up my blogs and quit my job, only to find out that all these people were lying. Sure you can make a living online and some even become rich but most people dont really make it. In fact most blogs only last 3 months. By this time I just had to make it work because I had no job left and I just had to push ahead. It's only been after a long while of blogging that I finally managed to start making nice money. Until my blog crashed. I will later go in detail on how to blog for money but one thing most people dont tell you is that you need a lot of patience and TIME. Without TIME you will just give up. If you are not prepared to do this for longer than 6 months without making a cent then stick to your day job. (obviously one can make money from general affiliates etc but the average guy is what I am talking about) I would much rather write about making a living on the internet than making big bucks on the internet. Its not all a bed of roses as some might make you believe it is.

Saving money is easier than you might think

October 7, 2008 by evl

Learning how to do things differently and becoming more eco friendly will actually help you save money. I might sound like a hippy now but if you think about it: Using natural resources Collecting food Not using chemicals etc I guess all these things might make a blog about money sound totally irrelevant but lets look closer it might sound more like a health blog or something about survival. Using natural resources Everyone needs time away from work, wheter you are a rocket scientist or a banker and the best way to start saving money is by making your own garden if you have that space. Some vegatables can grow within 1 or 2 weeks and before you know it you've saved a couple bucks. Collecting food You need excersize and hobbies, what better way than fishing or collecting things in nature that is edible. Nature is where all food comes from so why not take or make the time to go and collect things to eat. Here where we live we are fairly close to the mountain. It makes great excersize and the berries, fruit and other things you can put in your basket is plentyfull. Simple things can make you save a lot of money.
