When I bought the Mac i thought its got everything in that you need. Well it turns out you can even play a video on the internet with this dum stupid crap. Where in the world have you heard of a operating system that sells you crap that you have to pay for once you want to use it.
This QuickTime shit came with the computer, if I knew that most of the programs in Mac you have to pay for again after you bought the stupid Operating system I would of spend my money on a way better computer and loaded it with Ubuntu.
Mac sucks because it cant play most videos be default, even videos Windows xp can play by default.
So, unless you want to scrape out more money after you bought the Mac, dont buy a mac.
I've had some trouble recently with Wordpress. Every time i wanted to post something the page would just hang. I search all over the internet until eventually and ironically i got to wordpress.org and found the code.
The code to remove is this:
<?php
$metadata = has_meta($post->ID);
list_meta($metadata);
?>
from this file wp-admin\edit-form-advanced.ph
But I want to go further with that, Removing that code is a great idea even if you are not experiencing problems because it does take longer than it would without that code. So if you want your post page to load faster just remove that code.
Back in the day, sort of like two years ago when the internet was still younger and much more unspammed wordpress was great to see on the frontpage of Digg. Tonight I wondered why we dont get to see those great Wordpress articles on the frontpage of Digg and I soon discovered shit loads of spam. But in the spam was some great articles hidden, i realised that the Wordpress crowd and the Digg crowd is two different groups. No kidding. My point is that any great Wordpress article must be something else than a theme or a plugin that might sound frontpage worthy, it should be something that change Wordpress or the way we use wordpresss. Another thing I've noticed is only trusted sites gets to the front page of Digg, (no shit) the point I am trying to make is that you just wont find great Wordpress articles on Digg so you might as well stop looking.
My site has been loading really slow before I fixed it up and if you were here you might of noticed that I had many things on my site slowing it down and I asked myself these question.
Is it providing my readers anything useful
If you have something on your site that is not serving ANY purpose and trust me those do get around. You really should remove it. Not only will it make your site load faster but your readers will have less things to distract them.
Is it making me enough money
If you are planning on making a living on the internet and depend on your income from your blog you really should monitor ads on your site. For instance I am trying project wonderful but if its not working for me I will remove it. But leaving something on your blog that COULD make you money is really not useful, if you are not making money from it at the moment, remove it and put it back when you WILL make money from it.
Does it make my site look ugly
Design and layout is everything to a blog, I believe layout and design is one of the most important aspects of your blog and if something is making your site look ugly you should check if you cant replace it. I have seen some very nice sites but with a flashing thing that just totally distracts you. In fact I think I have one on here right now that I am about to remove. Although it makes me money its better to still remove it for the sake of people reading the blog.
So there are three short tips to make your site faster and better.
Many bloggers believe to frequent blogging and posting to many articles a day will decrease your readership. But the thing is, quality blogging does not mean less blogging. Quality blogging means posting good content that is worth bookmarking. Now if you can write 100's of great blogs posts a day. So good that people would want more, that will not decrease your blogging readership. But the problem is that its hard to come up with great content everyday. Great content that can be bookmarked and linked to does not come every day. Most professional bloggers post 2 or 3 times a week. For a young blog still climbing the ranks I think its important to post more frequent but to use keywords as much as you can. Load your site with those keywords while your blog is young and does not have that many readers yet. Over optimizing your site can annoy your readers.. So i say not quantity or quality for a new blog but keyword focus. That is if you want to make money blogging. When you begin to pick up status as a blogger and you get more readers you can then focus on quality but by then at least people can find you on search engines for the keywords you used. So even if your blogging sucks and you get no comments and have no readers, people will still come to your site through search engines. Its like laying the foundation. First the search engines, then the readers and then aim for becoming a influential blogger.

Best to see for yourself here

Yes yes I know twitterfox can not possibly work offline but somehow its the only thing that seems to work with my connection at the moment. Nothing loads, only twitterfox. Must be the port no or something not entirely sure why twitterfox would work while i have no internet connection.
Anyway, in South Africa i am not sure one can successfully run a business or blog online without being interrupted all the time. For the past week we've had a slow connection and I am now fed up with it.
Our ISP was friendly enough to let us pay the old price and keep the package but being disconnected all the time it does not seem like such a great idea anymore.
I need to be connected since my entire career is online, if there is no internet i have no job. That sucks. I guess I am just ranting now while being offline but thanks to this dumb communication system and laws we have in South Africa I can not be as successful as i really could be.
