Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs - Movie Trailer & Poster
Cloudy with the chance of Meatballs is based on a childrens book. It is a creative movie like no other. The whole story plot is so unbelievable but also inventive a real adventure.
There is this inventor named Flint Lockwood who dreams of being a great inventor. Then one day invents this machine that turns water into food.
There are many opportunity during the film for gags and laughter and to me is the perfect thing to watch with small children. As you would see in the trailer that this a very imaginative movie.
A Christmas Carol - Movie Trailer & Poster
This will be the Christmas movie of the year. It might even become a classic because of where it originates from. A Christmas Carol is on of Charles Dickens most loved stories. We have all heard the tale of Ebenezer Scrooge the mangy greedy old man who is visited by three ghost on one Christmas Eve and how the tale transforms a grumpy mean old man into a joyful loving person. Now the director, Robert Zemeckis, of Christmas Carol also directed back to the future and has always been fascinated by time travel and if you can remember the plot of A Christmas Carol is about him traveling to the past present and the future. Zemeckis also produced the Polar Express which has become an iconic Christmas tale. I saw an interview where Zemeckis talks of the novel by Charles Dickens and said he wanted to capture the story just as Charles Dickens tried to tell it, Dickens was very precise in his description and mentioned every small detail. Zemechis said he wanted to bring that to life. Personally I believe he has succeeded. So there won't be surprising twist with the plot because it is an precise adaptation of the book.
Jim Carrey plays the lead as Ebenezer Scrooge but also the three ghost. The reasoning behind this is that The three ghost are all alter ego's of Scrooge. It is not the usual slap stick Jim Carrey comedy but it looks funny. This is definitely something to enjoy as a family.
Toy Story 3 - Movie Review
I can't wait to see this. My little girl has both Toy Story one and two and watch it regularly. I wanted some info on the movie and made the mistake in checking it on Wikipedia. It was a total spoiler so I warn you if you don't want details don't go to Wikipedia.
The plot is simple. Andy is all grown up and is on his way to college and decides that his beloved toys needs a new home and donates them to a daycare centre.
Now that is not all that happens but I like some surprise elements in a movie and would never spoil it for someone else. It would be released in 2010 and I believe will be another hit.
9 - Movie Trailer & Posters
9 Is produced by Tim Burton who brought us The Nightmare Before Christmas in 1993 and Corpse Bride 2005. The whole film is set in the same dark animation than the other two. The story line though is very different but I think this is best creation yet.
The second video clip is all the information you would need about the film if you would like to know how it all got started and who is all responsible for what.
The world has been destroyed by machines so this one scientist creates these nine creatures to preserve life. In 9 he has put in his life force and it's 9's responsibility to preserve it.
The rest of the plot is hard to see but that is a good thing because that leaves more to look forward to. The setting is like a fantastical adventure that the outcome is unsure.

The Men Who Stare At Goats - Movie Trailer
This has to be the funniest movie trailer I have ever seen and to think it's actually based on reality. George Clooney is in the starring role along with Ewan McGregor. The rest of the cast is just as good featuring Kevin Spacey, Jeff Bridges and J.K. Simmons all of them seasoned actors taking part in this bizarre tale.
The plot is about a reported played by Ewan McGregor, who started following this story about a secret military operation. In the beginning he thought it was all bogus until he met a retired military guy played by George Clooney, they gone on this wild adventure. The military program was about this mystical belief that soldiers minds could be used as weapons. They believed you could walk through walls and kill using only your mind.

Remake of Wizard of Oz featuring Dekota Fanning
Warner Brothers has decided they wanted to remake the classic Wizard of Oz. I would normally have said they are ruining another perfectly fine film but they are getting Dekota Fanning to play the lead :) now that made me happy. Dekota are one of those rare stars that can actually act. There is going to be a rather large twist to the plot though it won't be the original story line. The plot is about Dorothy's granddaughter but the story line is apparently darker than the first that is bad news. So it means it will probably not be a family movie I can go watch with my children? I will reserve my judgment for a while but I truly hope they do not turn it into a horror sci-phi movie that would be awful.
Black Swan remake with Mila Kunis and Natalie Portman angry sex scene
What more is there to say than what's in the title - two extremely beautiful woman is going to have a very hot angry sex scene. And from past experiences we know neither of these two woman is shy in showing their bodies for 'art'. This is probably the only reason why most would go watch this over dramatized thriller. I have read a summary of the movies script and a review on the original and it sounds like a total wacko movie.
The girl Nina is a ballerina she is played by Natalie Portman. Who is a total good girl who gets the lead role in Swan Lake but she has to tap into her dark side to be able to play both the white and black swan. The director is a total creep and at some point basically rapes her to try and get her to express her 'dark' side. Nina goes into a mission looking for her darker side then she meets Lily, played by Mila Kunis. At the beginning she thinks it's her double but soon realize that Lily is her complete opposite. They might look alike but that is where the similarities end. They start a strange relationship. Then Nina begins to think that Lily is trying to take her place.
Through the whole thing it's confusing if Lily is real or just Nina who is looking for her dark side. Apparently the whole plot is different than what a person would think. What I have read about this movie it looks very dark depressing film, except for the fact that Mila Kunis and Natalie Portman would be having rough sex at some point. Remember not that soft fluffy kind of sex we see in films when two women get together apparently this would be the aggressive real deal kind of scene.
This is not my type of movie they make it sound so morbid and boring, It's only coming out sometime in 2010 so I don't even have a trailer or sneak shots. So what I did is I took a bunch of photos of Mila Kunis and Natalie Portman that looked similar and put it in one big pick a compilation of sorts. Seeing as at some points Nina thinks that Lilly is her double physically they have to look similar, strangely even with the actresses differences it can work, check it out.
Alive in Joburg made by Neill Blomkamp
I think this is brilliant in 2005 Neill Blomkamp made this short film based on District 9. The thing that makes this so extraordinary is the fact that the people in the short film being interviewed doesn't know about the science fiction film about aliens. They are giving their honest thoughts on illegal immigrants in South Africa. Not just illegal immigrants but all foreigners in our country. As you can see they did not sound very positive or friendly but mostly they sound scared.
District 9 - Movie Trailer
District 9 is a movie sort of based on the apartheid era in South Africa where blacks was segregated from whites.
The movies plot is where a ship of refugee aliens land in Johannesburg South Africa. The 'world' decides that they are a threat to humanity and needs to be separated from the rest of the population by making this place called District 9. If you know South African history there was a place with the name District 6 where the non whites lived. Any case the main company who 'cares' for the aliens wants to have them moved and sends in this guy to help to get them moved. He learns of how they are being mistreated and snaps. Goes in trying to help the aliens making him a wanted man.

There is much more to the movie than what I wrote but I really would not want is spoil it for someone. But if you watch all the trailers you would get a bigger picture. This is one movie I am looking forward to and cannot wait for it to be released.

Jennifers Body - Movie Trailer
Well this will be something different for me. I don't normally watch horrors but this one is more soft porn and really funny, I know it's not suppose to be funny. The movie is about Jennifer played by Megan Fox, who is miss popular and the most wanted girl in school. She has a secret though she is possessed by a demon and eats boys. She has an best friend who knows her secret and tries ot stop her.
Jennifer's Body will not win awards except maybe hottest leading role ever :)
