Obama bowls like a Special Olympic or something

Obama was on Jay Leno's talk show last night to talk about the economy and so forth. He said something rather hilarious and offense in at the same time. He was cracking jokes about himself and what a bad bowler he is his exact words where '...bowl like a Special Olympic or something'.
Now I know this is mean but I couldn't stop laughing. His spokes person or whatever has explained that Obama did not mean there is something wrong with the the Special Olympics it was just an offhand comment. What a blunder to make, a funny one but still to mock the biggest advisability organization on live TV is a bad move. He made some other comments on the economy and made some chokes but I really can't remember the rest just that Obama thinks he plays like a Special Olympian (who would most likely be able to kick his ass in bowling)

If you know anything about the Olympics you'll know that its the Gold medals that count. But strangely the USA does not think so. So far if you read most tables or graphs showing medals they all, or most of them puts the USA on the top for the number of medals won. But this is not how it works, they should instead show how many Gold medals each country has won and not the total medals, because ultimately its the country with the most Gold medals that leads the way in the Olympics.
