Caster Semenya won gold in the women's 800 meters at the World Athletics Championships gender question

There is no doubt in the physical fact the Caster Semenya is a woman. They have phrased the whole thing wrong. If it was just a fact of her gender they could just do an scan to check if she has all the right 'parts'. The whole investigation is into her biological composition.

Let me explain, woman are identified by the their chromosomes in the athletic world. Female chromosomes are naturally XX while male is XY. What they are questioning is if she is born with XXY chromosomes which would make her a hermaphrodite. This means her muscle build would be more male than female. According to the IAAF and scientist that this would give her a major advantage to other competitors. caster_semenya_wins

But to me that is not gender fraud it's just a quirk of nature. So what if it gives her some advantage? She has trained most of her life to get into the physical conditions she is in. It's not like she would be able to compete with the men. So what do they expect? That this strong girl should give up all she has worked for and dream of and not compete? I do not see the point in doing this. In the long run it would only harm her if they found that her chromosomes is different. To label her as a man because of a chromosome difference is just cruel and insensitive.

Caster's father pleaded for people to leave his daughter alone. Jacob Semenya said: 'She is my little girl. I have never doubted her gender. She is a woman, and I can repeat that a million times.' dailymail.co.uk

This will not break Caster Semenya she has so many supporters standing by her. Caster earned her gold medal. I found the video of her race on youtube and I can see why some would think something is up because the huge lead she had on the rest of them.

World swine flu will stop being counted, spreading to fast

Swine flu around the world has become so much that the World Health Organization has decided to go the South African route and stop counting the individuals with swine flu. They said that the H1N1 swine flu was the fastest spreading flu ever.

The United Nations said:

The 2009 influenza pandemic has spread internationally with unprecedented speed. In past pandemics, influenza viruses have needed more than six months to spread as widely as the new H1N1 virus has spread in less than six weeks," it said in a statement on the new strain, commonly known as swine flu

So swine flu is now just about in every country with thousands of people getting infected daily.

In the meantime the London times has censored countless comments of people saying they will not get the vaccination, I wont get it either. Who knows what a vaccination might include that was mass produced by a giant medical company that wants to make a lot of money. Who knows who is behind this swine flu.

I think i'll take the chances and rather try to avoid the now global and fast spreading pandemic.

Just how corrupt are the South African police

February 26, 2009 by evl

If you ever wonder or dont believe how wasted and corrupt the South African police is, then you should read the news today.
A suspended policeman accused of robbery failed to appear in the Pretoria North Magistrate's Court on Wednesday as he had been arrested for another robbery in Benoni.
News24.com
This cop got arrested and missed court for another robbery he made. Seems like they are so busy doing the crime they have no time to actually fight the crime. Who am I fooling, they are the crime problem in South Africa. If the police had any integrity in South Africa it might of been a safer country. But I guess what can you expect, the entire government is corrupt, they dont care about the people but only filling their pockets with cash. Even after all this, 15 years of failure of the ANC the funny thing is that people will still go out and vote for them.

Most South African bloggers are from Cape Town

December 7, 2008 by evl

That's strange. I would not of thought that most bloggers would be from Cape Town that blog and live in South Africa. My guess would of been Johannesburg. According to "Sake 24" something like 88% come from Cape Town.

I guess its called the laid back city for a reason but this is also the silicon valley of South Africa.

Cape Town as far as I know also has the best internet connections and most people that live here are not obsessed with work. At least the ones that I know.

Interesting.

Candice Swanepoel the hottest South African model ever

December 4, 2008 by Daizy

Now why they don't concentrate more on her I don't know she is just as hot as Miranda Kerr. I hardly saw any pictures of her during the Victoria Secret 'season', the time of year they go all out. So here are a couple for you to enjoy pity there aren't more.

Charlize Theron hottest South African export in GQ magazine UK edition

June 14, 2008 by evl

Charlize Theron has amazed everyone when she transformed herself into an ugly person for an role and winning a award for it. She is one talented woman. I do hope though she'll consider a role playing a beautiful queen or something because that is what she reminds me of a queen. I tried to write something about her boobs or something equally shallow, even though they do deserve attention (her boobs that is) . I respect her too much to do that. But I would say one thing she is one of the most sensual woman in Hollywood. charlize_theron_09 charlize_theron_08 charlize_theron_07 charlize_theron_06 charlize_theron_05 charlize_theron_04 charlize_theron_03 charlize_theron_02 charlize_theron_01

Wow my first blog post on Hb.co.za

March 4, 2008 by evl

This is my first blog post on hb.co.za. All the other posts on this blog is multiple blogs combined and merged. This main blog used to be on a dot com but I thought I would like more South African traffic. Since I am in South Africa and am South African. Having my site on a dot com got me lots of traffic from other countries but you have to look at your goals when blogging. If you get thousands of hits a day but your goals are not met you have to change how you do things.
