Suddenly today when we woke up the sun was shining as if it has been shining all along. The winter is now forgotten and we can clearly see that summer is finally here. This must of been one of the longest winters and its been cold but finally its summer now. Time for photographs and time for the Helderberg to come alive again.

Here in the Helderberg we have had our fair share of winter this year. Today is probably the best weather we have had since last summer. Hopefully this weather is here to stay.

Its been a really long winter, probably the longest Cape Town winter I can remember. Although they seem to have the cold in Johannesburg now.

Really cold here in Helderberg

Last year this time it was a bit hotter than this. They say its the worst rain we've had in 50 years here in Helderberg. Just last week we still had snow on the mountains.
