People will soon get tired of the no graphic plain boring web2.0 designs that has no character. There is a huge rise in bloggers and designers that hate the so called web2.0 design. This might not be a bad thing, if all blogs look different and show their own character instead of going with the general flow. There is one problem though in scrapping the web2.0 look. Visibility and difficult browsing. Some heavy graphic custom made grunge blogs are very difficult to browse and you cant always see where every clickable thing is. So it might come down to annoying your users and having great graphics or web2.0 and easy usability. Except if you can find the middle ground off course.
