The Scriptures (TS98) messes up the Comma Johanneum
7Because there are three who bear witness:8the Spirit, and the water, and the blood. And the three are in agreement.
That is according to “The Scriptures”. Comma Johanneum has been corrupted here. Why? Its in the Textus Receptus, why not here?
How is it supposed to look?
Well something in this order:
1Jn 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
1Jn 5:8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

I have noticed that in some Bible translations where the Comma has been omitted, verses 6,7& 8
are numbered differently than in other translations. In some cases, it takes both the
7th & 8th verses combined to form a complete
sentence. Nowhere else in the Bible am I yet
able to find another instance of that. To me,
that only makes it seem obvious that something has been omitted.
Interesting find. I’ve not noticed the different verse numbers around the Comma. Only that some omit the verse completely, other change it.
Oh yes, i see now. Totally missed that.
