With recent events in Zimbabwe we learn that money really cant always help when disaster strikes a country. But what we can learn is that money could still be usefull. What could be more usefull is gold. Having a bit of gold could help you more than money, especially when money becomes worth nothing.
Its good to have money in your survival kit but its important not to put your life savings in your survival kit althought it might not always be that bad idea depending on where you live.
A great way to have money available at all times is to have off shore bank accounts where they have a stable currency. That way you can still have money even though a country’s economy collapses entirely.
