In the classic survival scenario people often think they can build a bunker with a gun hole and shoot who ever comes to attack them. But many times this wont help a bit. What happens in fantasy for survivalist is sometimes far from reality.
Lets say war breaks out and you have to do something, you really want to tell me you are going to defend your house with a gun against tanks and fighter planes (if you are on the wrong side of things).
Of if total chaos breaks out and there is not food, you can only stay so long in your house or bunker until someone gets in there.
That’s why its best to go where no one is. The wilderness is sometimes the safest place to be and there you wont need any guns.
Another thing is bullets. One can only have so many bullets and if that is finished you are surely not going to be making your own bullets.
So rather make your plans without your guns.If you have one, great but dont depend on it.
