There is a difference between growing your blog and growing your blog to make money online. Growing your blog and pushing up your readership is important but if your aim is to make money from your blog you might want to consider aiming more for search engines.

By aiming for other bloggers and regular readers we sometimes forget that search engine traffic makes more money than social traffic and that is why its important to aim for both.

Social traffic also grows you blog on search engines while the traffic that comes from the search engines results in high click rates on ads and more people will click on ads from search engines than people would that come from social networking or bookmarking sites. Including regular readers.

Regular readers is the most important part of your blog but to make money you have to reach beyond the regular readers and aim for high search results.

Thinking you can make money and become rich by participating in the community is a myth.

Its search engines that bring those that will turn your blog into a bank.

You can skip to the end and leave a response. Pinging is currently not allowed.

yeah - i tend to agree.

having the blogging community active on your site is great for comments, but they don’t often click ads.

whereas the search engine traffic visitors are often looking for specific things, and if they don’t find it on your site, they’ll just click on to find it…

    interesting thought!!!
