I have been a big fan of anonymaninity (however one spells that). Not using my real name on the internet has been really worth since no one knew who i was. The problem with that is to be a influential blogger or someone that is known for what they do, they really need to know your name.
That is one of the topics I would like to cover on this blog. Do you use your real name online?

I used to use a ‘alias’, when I was younger, late 90’s — I think, now I do not mind using my real name.
It could be vanity — or I want what I say to be credible, that is to say, you know, it’s me, not ’something entity/being’ I’m hiding behind’ — this is not say, those that do use alias, are hiding something — I just felt my name is better than all the nicknames/alias — i actually feel that my nickname is more personal than my real name, go figure.

I do sometimes to my detriment, but I am unashamedly who I am. I don’t need to hide behind aliases. Every time I try and be a anonymous blogger I blow my cover anyway.
Here I am see me, WYSIWYG

Yes, I do use my real name. I never saw the need to hide it, so I don’t bother to try now after almost three years of blogging.
