Weird signs at Rooisand nature reserve

When on a previous road trip we drove past this weird road about 5km from Kleinmond. It might be further but because the road is so straight it feels very close. Anyway, as we drove along we saw this turnoff, it had no signs, no tar road and no people. Well we only found out there were no people when we were half way into the bushes.

So we drove down this small road with massive holes in it hoping that the water in it was only as deep as the car could make it out of. After driving for few minutes down this dark, overgrown and dusty road we came to a sign that said "enter at own risk".

Well we drove in and what we found was the Kogelberg Biosphere reserve.
