The better your imagination and the more content you type the bigger the chances are that someone will find your site. But there are certain things when it comes to blog traffic.

When it comes to people visiting your site for just plain seo’d content you should actually have something there except that greatly seo’d content. You should provide something of value that your users can feel satisfied for being on your blog.
Great content gets visitors from other places
Providing great content is the key, that is the key to getting bookmarked and getting your site on social bookmarking and networking sites. You could get one visitor from a search engine but that one visitor can turn your blog upside down with traffic if he finds what he is looking for and stumbles or digg it.
