Why you should invest in a deep freezer

 If you are living off grid or even if you are not, you need a deep freezer to save money. 

A deep freezer can help you save money in many ways. Normally one would not go to the extent of doing these things but living off grid or Frugally one needs to save all the money you can. 

First of all a deep freezer is for seasons, my parents used to store their food for months, by the time we had to get new stock the prices had almost doubled. A deep freezer will enable you to buy food when the price is right and safe it for later.

Another way is to buy certain foods in the summer that you might not get in the winter. Some fruit can even be frozen, especially some berries that you might not get during the winter times. If you plant and grow your own food the freezer can help you cope during winter times when your garden might not produce a lot of fruit or veggies.

In South Africa we can do something great. We can drive out to the Karoo and buy bulk meat, then we can drive back home and freeze it. Sure you will drive out a lot of petrol but you can buy a year's supply of meat with a freezer.

There are so many ways a deep freezer can help you save money you just have to think about it.
