Well you can change that. I sometimes find it annoying after Firefox updated and it asks me to restart. So you can fix this by going in the about:config as I showed earlier and then look for this:

Well click on the 1800 and change it to 36000 and you wont be bugged again.

You can also change the update mode to 0 and it wont automatically upgrade. But its recommended not to do that since you really want you Firefox to be the newest one. Keeping up to date is also safer since they release bug fixes.
